Three more players commit to RCC’s inaugural baseball team

Three more players have committed to playing on Robeson Community College’s inaugural baseball team.

John Carre, Jr., Gage Griffiths, and Mason Barnes will be calling Robeson County home next fall.

Leveling the playing field will be John Carre, Jr., who is currently attending North Moore High School, and is from West End. When asked what he hopes to become, he stated, “the best version of myself.”

Hitting a homerun from Randolph County is Gage Griffiths who currently resides in Archdale. Griffiths attends Trinity High School and has ambitions of becoming a firefighter one day.

And, coming in on the homestretch is Mason Barnes from Fayetteville. Mason currently attends Gray Creek High School and has goals of becoming a business owner or an FBI agent one day.

These three players will join Brett Kutner of Raleigh, Mynkoda Smith and Nemo Chavis, both from Fairmont, Andrew Corney of Hope Milles, and Chase Young from Oak Ridge, all of whom committed to the team earlier this semester.
