RCC’s University Transfer Fair scheduled for November 28
Robeson Community College will host a university transfer fair on Monday, November 28 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. To date, 17 colleges are expected to be in attendance including:
- Appalachian State University
- Barton College
- Bennett College
- Campbell University
- Chowan University
- East Carolina University
- Fayetteville State University
- Gardner-Webb University
- Lees-McRae University
- Methodist University
- North Carolina State University
- St. Andrews University
- University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
- University of North Carolina at Charlotte
- University of North Carolina at Pembroke
- University of North Carolina at Wilmington
- Western Carolina University
“This is a great opportunity for our transfer students to speak with recruiters from the various universities,” said Scott Lamm, dean of university transfer and health science programs at RCC. “We expect more colleges to be added to the list as the event gets closer.”
The associate of arts and associate of science degrees are two of the most popular programs at Robeson Community College. These university transfer programs provide students with the foundation they need to be successful as they pursue their dreams of obtaining a bachelor’s degree at a 4-year institution.
“We have a some of the best university transfer students at Robeson Community College, I hope everyone will come out and take advantage of this awesome opportunity,” said Lamm. “Our students are well prepared for the transition to a university, and I know that they will enjoy getting to meet college recruiters and learning more about the options available.”
The college transfer fair is free and is open to the general public.
