RCC’s Lindsey Norris talks Medical Sonography on 100.9 The Cross!

Learn about this newest health science program at Robeson Community College that launched its first co-hort in 2022. The program was started to meet the demands of healthcare in the region and continues to a highly-sought after degree that is competitive and rigorous.

Students in the program will gain a broad knowledge of medical sonography that used to gain employment at hospitals, clinics, physicians offices, mobile health services, and more. Students can also become more specialized in the areas of medical sonography to gain employment with OBGYN’s or Endocrinologists.

As a part of the application, individuals must complete many general education requirements, and those can be completed this fall and spring.

The next cohort of classes will be in August 2025.
