RCC to operate remotely Feb. 19; two hour delay on Feb. 20
“The safety and well-being of our students, faculty, staff, and community are our highest priority,” stated RCC President Melissa Singler in a campus wide email to faculty, staff, and students about the upcoming winter weather forecasted to hit our area in the next 24 hours.
The President announced that all classes scheduled for February 19, 2025, will be held remotely where possible, due to the threat of inclement weather. Additionally, all events scheduled for February 19 are canceled. Faculty and staff are scheduled to work remotely on Wednesday.
As a pre-caution, on Thursday, February 20, 2025, Robeson Community College will operate on a two-hour delay for students, faculty and staff. Classes starting before 10:00 AM will transition to remote instruction where feasible.
“Remember to take home any necessary items, such as laptops, chargers, and other materials, when you leave on Tuesday,” Singler reminded employees. “If your role requires, please forward your office phone to work remotely.”
As weather conditions may change, the RCC Campus community is asked to continue to monitor college email accounts, the RCC website, and social media channels for further updates.
Stay safe and warm!
