RCC Campus to remain closed through Friday due to Tropical Storm Debby

Due to Tropical Storm Debby, which has caused flooding, road ponding, and power outages, Robeson Community College will continue remote operations through Friday, August 9, 2024.

In-person classes will be conducted remotely where possible, while online classes will proceed as scheduled.

“Our faculty and staff will be working remotely and are available to assist you via phone or email,” RCC President Melissa Singler wrote in an email to students. “If you have any questions or need help with fall class registration, please don’t hesitate to contact us.”

The payment deadline has been extended to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, August 12, 2024.

Student services will offer extended hours Monday, August 12 through Thursday August 15, 2024, from 5pm -7pm to support students and working learners. 

Robeson Community College will resume normal operations on Monday, August 12, 2024.
