Robeson Community College has added more shows to its Discover Television Series. 

This July and August, viewers can learn more about Robeson Community College through the original series which includes Discover RCC, Discover Culinary Arts, Discover University Transfer, Discover Continuing Education, and Discover COMtech. 

The 30 minute shows will be broadcast on WWAY’s ABC, CBS, and CW affiliates; WBTW; and WPDE and WPDE’s CW affiliate station at the dates and times below.

More television shows featuring Robeson Community College are currently under construction and will be released soon.

Please note that the dates and times below are subject to change and episodes may be preempted by breaking news or live programming, such as sporting events, that may run over the original allotted time. 

New! Discover Business Technologies

This 20 minute show features Business Technologies Program with segments featuring Valissa Lowery who gives an overview of Business Administration, Accounting, and Medical Office Administration programs; Information Technology programs – Video Gaming and Simulation and Cybersecurity; and also features the apprenticeship program highlighting the recognition received from ApprenticeshipNC for 2024 Oustanding Apprentice – Seth Bullard – and the 2024 Outstanding Registered Apprenticeships – Lumbee Tribe Holdings Inc.

As an added bonus, the RCC Reconnect Video will air immediately after the show, along with the Carolina Beat segment highlighting criminal justice.

This show features Respiratory Therapy; Radiography; Electrical Systems; Mechatronics; Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration; Cosmetology; Business Technologies, and Basic Law Enforcement, giving students an overview of curriculum programs available at Robeson Community College.

Discover Culinary Arts

This show features various recipes that the culinary arts department has shared with its students in teaching them how to cook and bake.
