RCC 2021 Golf Tournament raises over $50,000
The 37th Anniversary Clifford Bullard Memorial Golf Tournament raised over $50,000 during the event held on Thursday, October 14 at Pinecrest Country Club in Lumberton. In all, the RCC Foundation grossed $51,716.61 and netted $44,233.69 after expenditures were accessed.
This was a 17.5% increase over the previous year in which the college raised just over $44,000 with its tournament in 2020. Since the beginning of the tournament in 1984, the RCC Foundation has raised a little over $650,000.
“On behalf of the Foundation, I would like to thank our generous sponsors and all of the people that contributed to making this tournament successful,” said Jessica Bullard, RCC Foundation Director. “Coming into this year tournament, we wanted to try some new ideas and they paid off with surpassing our goal.”
Jessica adds, “The Foundation appreciates the Bullard family for supporting our mission and students.”
The Robeson County Team placed first in the tournament and second place went to the Drew Bullard Team.

“This is just a wonderful event,” said RCC President Melissa Singler. “It’s very phenomenal… it is becoming like a homecoming every year. We are so thankful for our sponsors and those in the community who continue to support Robeson Community College. We could not do this without you.”
