for soaring over us
with Roman candle
light

for not giving in to
commons sense
& soft
emotions

for not understanding
that Pi is unknowable
& indispensable

for being there
for you

Thank you
for soaring over us
with Roman Legion
might

for holding my money
for me

for saving us
from ourselves

for keeping us safe
& boring

for showing us
that it really is
A dream

For soaring over us
with colosseum   
delight

for leading
from the cover
of night

for all the great
choices

for not giving in to
common sense
& soft
emotions

for being there
for you
