Pinning Ceremony Held for Nursing Students
Graduating students in the Associate Degree Nursing program were recently honored during a pinning ceremony held on the RCC Campus in Lumberton. The ceremony was held May 11 in the auditorium on campus with social distancing measures in place. One-by-one, students were pinned and given a lamp to carry on the tradition for these soon-to-be nurses. Students recited the Florence Nightingale Pledge, a modified version of the “Hippocratic Oath” named after the esteemed founder of modern nursing.
