Give Blood Jan. 29, get $40 in rewards

The Blood Connection will be hosting a blood drive at Robeson Community College on Wednesday, January 29. The blood drive will take place on the main campus in Lumberton from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the parking lot located behind Building 6 on the west side of campus.

“Our blood collections are way down for the month due to the artic weather and the fact that we had to cancel several blood drives,” stated Maureen Metzger, the senior account manager, in an email. “The need to make up for those lost units is high and I am hoping to have a successful blood drive at RCC.”

All blood types are needed. Donors will receive $40 in rewards for participating in the blood drive.
