Fall 2021 registration continues; Orientation to be held Aug. 7

New, returning, and former students can still register for classes that begin August 16 at Robeson Community College. Students will have an opportunity to register for classes on Saturday, August 7 from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. during New Student Orientation (NSO). Multiple sessions of NSO will also be held during late registration on August 11.

Students can also register from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Monday thru Thursday in the Advising Center located in the Student Center of Building 13.

Financial aid is available and the college encourages everyone to apply regardless of their income level.

“If you are a 2021 North Carolina high school graduate, you could receive up to $2,800 per year, for two years, thanks to the Longleaf Grant. Please don’t miss this unique opportunity provided to you,” said Melissa Singler, RCC President.  “And if you didn’t graduate in 2021, you might be surprised at what funding options are available. If you think you don’t qualify for financial aid, please know the guidelines for financial aid have changed due to the pandemic and you may qualify for more than you realize.”

There are many other opportunities to receive financial assistance such as through federal financial aid, scholarships, grants, the workforce innovation and opportunities act, and more.

Seats remain in exciting programs such as simulation and game technology; culinary arts program; baking and pastry arts; university transfer, welding; electrical systems; mechatronics; criminal justice; emergency medical science; early childhood education; and more.

“There has never been a better time to attend community college. There has never been a better time to retool and to retrain. There has never been a better time to change careers,” said RCC President Melissa Singler. “This is your time and the time is now.”
