Emergency Services Training Grounds

 

Learn more about the Emergency Services Training Grounds at Robeson Community College! Located 7 miles east from the main campus in Lumberton, the ESTG serves as the home of RCC’s Fire and Rescue Education programs and also houses the range for the BLET and Law Enforcement programs, such as basic firearms training and carrying concealed weapons. 

Training included challenging live-fire scenarios involving state-of-the-art facilities which included a rail car, cargo container, and burn towers. Other training available consists of technical rescuer training, grain bin rescue, water pump training, extrication, various firefighter certifications, and an EMS Leadership Academy, which filled to capacity.

Each February, the college hosts the Southeastern Fire and Rescue College to provide training in a variety of areas to firefighters, EMS, EMT, and other first responders.
