Cybersecurity panel discussion to be held Oct. 24 at RCC

Technology is ever changing and so are the cybersecurity risks that users face each day. Viruses. Malware. Phishing Schemes… and the list could go on and on. How do you protect yourself? How do you stay safe online?

Join Robeson Community College on Thursday, October 24 for a Cybersecurity Awareness Month event that will hopefully help answer some of these questions and to help you learn how to keep yourself safe from hackers and malicious threats.

RCC’s cybersecurity experts Dustin Long, Vice President of Information Technology, and Kenneth Stubbs, Gaming and Cybersecurity Instructor will lead a panel discussion titled ‘Staying Safe Online.”

The panel discussion will take place in the ADL Auditorium on the main campus in Lumberton from 11am to 12pm. This event is free and open to the general public and is sponsored by Robeson Community College and the First Americans Pathway to STEM Success.
