College & Career Readiness Graduates Shine
Lena Franks: Lena was recently hired by Interim Health Care Agency as a CNA. She earned a High School Equivalency Diploma with College and Career Readiness. She was the 2019 Valedictorian for the Class of 2019.
Jacob Lewis: Jacob earned a High School Equivalency Diploma as a was a member of the C&CR Class of 2019. He’s currently enrolled in the Information Technology Network Management program. He plans to complete post-two-year degree studies and ultimately enter the business world.
Jewell Wilkey: Jewell decided to continue her academic journey after dropping out of a 5th-grade and earned her High School Equivalency diploma. With the help of RCC Instructor, Mrs. Linda Sanderson, and RCC’s Student Success Counselor, Cynthia Quintero, Jewell was recently hired as a full-time Substance Abuse Counselor with an NC Substance Abuse Center. The perks of the job include her own office and a competitive salary. Jewell is continuing her studies at UNC Pembroke as a double major in Criminal Justice and Sociology.
