Microsoft Office 2013
Information Technology is looking to upgrade all campus computers to Office 2013 starting December 1 through January 31, 2014. You can upgrade NOW by using the Desktop Manager.
The Office 2013 suite includes the core applications of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Publisher, and Outlook along with the unified communications application, Lync.
Some of the new features of Office 2013 include:
- Being able to store and access files in SkyDrive
- Being able to directly edit PDFs in Microsoft Word
- Easier comment tracking
- A re-designed user interface
- Inline replies in Outlook
