The Emergency Services division offers quality instruction whereby adults can attain and/or maintain knowledge and certification in the area of Fire and Rescue, Emergency Medical Services, Law Enforcement, and Health related areas.
Fire Training and Rescue Training
Robeson Community College offers International Fire Services Accreditation Commission approved fire training to volunteer and career firefighters. The training can be taken directly the local fire department or conducted at the Emergency Services Training Center. This facility offers live burn training and hands on rescue training.
Law Enforcement Training
In-Service Training is offered to certified law enforcement officers to assist them in maintaining their certification. This includes mandated training as required by the Department of Justice as well as other certification and recertification classes.
Emergency Medical Training
The Emergency Medical Services Department offers Emergency Medical Technician Training to the Paramedic level. Also offered through this department are Nurse Assistant 1, CPR, and First Aid courses.
