Surgical Technology clinical experiences provide students the opportunity to train and interact with professional members of the health care team.
Students will rotate through all surgical specialties. Clinical rotations are scheduled to include a minimum of 8 to 10 hour shifts, which will include starting times as early as 6 a.m. and as late as 8 p.m. Students will have to scrub a minimum of 120 cases in specific surgical specialties. By completing all the clinical hours denoted in the clinical rotation schedule, students will be able to meet program outcomes and competencies.
