When students complete RCC’s Office Administration program, they have options to upgrade their skills which could in turn benefit their careers. Most office environments will require employees to be proficient at Microsoft Office and to be able to type with speed and accuracy. Any additional work to upgrade these skills will be a plus for graduates. Other options for graduates include taking classes in medical billing and ICD-9 coding to enhance skills for the medical field. For graduates interested in working in a law office, internships and continuing education classes in deed preparation and contracts should prove beneficial. Graduates who are bilingual or know sign language will stand out as job candidates. Robeson Community College offers both Spanish and sign language classes through its continuing education division.
