About General Occupational Technology

If your major is Associate in Occupational Technology (A55280), you were probably guided in this direction by a counselor or a faculty member in the industrial technologies or encouraged to pursue a customized program of study by your employer. If you are not certain about how to plan your curriculum, you should first consult the Student Success Plan that you received when you completed your placement testing and/or were accepted by the Admissions Office.

Any student who wishes to graduate with the Associate in Occupational Technology degree must outline a detailed program of study proposal and have it approved by the chief academic officer or his designee at least 10 (ten) working days prior to the start of classes. The individualized program of study will become a part of your student record for reference by your advisor and authorized RCC employees.
